A pressure-balancing valve for metal packaging of olives, cheese, pickles and similar foods.
Filtered Can Valve
The filtered tin can valve is a one-way valve developed to controllably vent gas pressure generated inside metal packaging. Applied to the tin can lid, the valve prevents product particles from reaching the mechanism thanks to its filtered design and operates reliably throughout the product’s long shelf life.
In products such as olives, cheese, and pickles—which release gas during the fermentation process—an increase in pressure inside the can can cause the packaging to swell or even deform. Our filtered tin can valve balances the pressure by releasing excess gas; it does not allow the entry of outside air, moisture, or foreign matter.
